The McAdams Bulldogs finished just one game shy of making the MHSAA Class 1A Final Four in Jackson.
The Bulldogs fell 71-54 to West Lowndes last week. McAdams ended the season with a 15-12 record.
West Lowndes doubled up McAdams in the first period as they outscored McAdams 22-11 in the first quarter. McAdams outscored West Lowndes 12-11 in the second as the Panthers led 33-23 at the half. The Panthers continued to extend the lead in the second half, outscoring the Bulldogs 16-12 in the third and 22-19 in the fourth.
Querrion Gadson led McAdams with 26 points while T’Caivan Bolton had seven points. Admir Bentley scored five points while Percy Lewis and John Bayne each had four points apiece.
West Lowndes improved to 19-9 on the season with the win. The Panthers lost 65-55 to Okolona on Monday in the 1A semifinals.
