The Kosciusko Star-Herald is a Mississippi-owned newspaper that dates back to 1866.

The Star-Herald has long been regarded as one of Mississippi’s best weekly newspapers, honored for excellence in news reporting and advertising. It has received the Mississippi Press Association’s award for General Excellence among large weekly newspapers.

Located in the heart of Mississippi along the historic Natchez Trace Parkway.  Kosciusko, named after Tadeusz Kosciuszko--a Polish general who served as a military engineer in the American Revolutionary War. Kosciusko is also the birthplace of Oprah Winfrey.
