All three schools that call Attala County home will be participating in girls varsity volleyball this season, with the season beginning the last full week of August.
The first local school to get into official action will be Ethel, when the Lady Tigers open their inaugural season on Tuesday, Aug. 25, with a road match against West Lowndes.
Kosciusko, which begin volleyball last year, is set to host Lanier on Thursday. Aug. 27, while that same night has McAdams opening its program at home against Holmes County and Ethel paying a visit to Union.
The first home match for Ethel will be on Tuesday, Sept. 1, when the Lady Tigers play host to Union. That same night has McAdams hosting Kosciusko.
Other highlights on the schedule for the three teams have Kosy hosting McAdams on Sept. 10, the Lady Whippets traveling to Louisville on Sept. 3 and hosting the Wildcats on Sept 7.
Ethel and McAdams will play each other twice, while Kosy does not face Ethel this season. McAdams host Ethel on Sept. 21 and then pays a visit to the Lady Tigers on Oct. 6.
All start times for varsity matches is 6 p.m., with junior varsity matches set to begin at 5 p.m.
