The Ethel Tigers (4-4, 3-2) are looking for their second win in a row over the McAdams Bulldogs (2-6, 2-3) on Friday night and hope to be a step closer to the No. 4 Region 3-1A Playoff seed with a win.
The Tigers are coming off a 46-16 trouncing of the Montgomery County Hornets while the Bulldogs are coming off their first win against Durant in over 30 years. The Bulldogs won that contest 28-19 and will be looking to even their region record this Friday night when they face the Ethel Tigers.
The Ethel Tigers have been outscored in region play 122-108 while the Bulldogs have been outscored 176-90.
“This is a big one for us and we are looking forward to it,” said Ethel head coach Hogan Briscoe. “It’s a big rivalry game with big implications on the line for us and the rest of our season.”
The opening kick is set for 7 p.m. in McAdams.
