Ethel only had one basketball date last week and it saw the boys coming out on top and the girls coming up short against East Webster.

The Tigers and Lady Tigers will not play again 2018. After the Christmas holidays Ethel will play at Winona on Friday, Jan. 4 and then on Tuesday, Jan 8 they’ll face off against rival McAdams.

Ethel boys capture tourney title

Daquannay Dotson had a huge game in the finals of the Ethel Tournament to lead the host Tigers to a 68-54 win and the championship.

On the girls side of the bracket, Ethel rolled to an easy first-round win before falling in overtime to Sebastopol. Ethel was set to visit Lake on Tuesday before paying a visit to French Camp on Friday.
