Supervisors talk bridges and criminal justice

During a Monday morning meeting, the Attala County Board of Supervisors voted to accept a bid from N.L. Carson to replace county bridge 5120 at a cost of $437,890.15. The project will be fully funded by state aid funding.

KHS graduates largest class

With over 155 graduates, the Class of 2018 is Kosciusko’s largest. Superintendent Billy Ellzey noted that this class earned more than $650,000 in scholarships.

“Don’t let fear keep you from reaching your goals,” he said.

Salutatorian Tanner Threet expressed gratitude toward teachers, family and classmates.
