Class of 2018 Salutatorian Georgia Reeves warned her fellow grads “there are going to be bumps in the road,” but also that “everything that happens, happens for a reason.”
Valedictorian Karsyn Wright remembered the effort to get to this milestone.
“It was a sometimes diffucult journey, but a beautiful journey nonetheless,” she said. “I’ve always disliked endings, but endings are inevitable. Now it is our responsbility to take what we’ve learned and put it to good use.”
Wright gave her fellow graduates five things to keep in mind as they head into the next chapter in their lives: remember your fmaily, remember God, remember to be yourself, pay attention so you don’t miss something important and remember the good times and ignore the bad.
“It’s never too late....or too early to be who you want to be,” she said.
