McAdams senior Percy Lewis has been named to the 1A All-State first team as a defensive tackle.
Lewis, 6-8 and 320 pounds, was a two-way lineman for the Bulldogs. He was credited with 90 tackles, including five for losses and three sacks.
Lewis is also first team on defense and second team offense on the 3-1A all region team.
Seven other Bulldogs received all region honors, including junior Lewis Latiker, a two-way lineman who was second team on offense and honorable mention on defense, and junior Jaylan Perteet, who was honorable mention on offense and defense as a running back and linebacker.
Latiker had 82 tackles. Perteet carried 56 times for 303 yards and five touchdowns and caught eight passes for 59 yards and one TD. On defense, he had 82 tackles.
Junior linebacker Tayveon Rimmer was named to the first team defense. He led the Bulldogs in tackles with 121.
Second team honorees are junior running back Tromone Bailey and senior linebacker Likarious Ward. Bailey was the Bulldogs' leading ball carrier with 790 yards and nine TDs. Ward had 58 tackles, with a team leading 12 for losses.
Defensive backs Mekyl Riley, a senior, and Johnatvis Rimmer, a junior, were honorable mention defensive backs. Riley had 56 tackles and Rimmer two interceptions.
McAdams finished 6-6 and was fourth in the region with a 5-3 record. The Bulldogs lost to South State champion Lumberton in the opening round of the playoffs.
