Kosciusko golfers finish third at Dogwoods, head to district match Thursday

Kosciusko was third of five teams in a math at Dogwoods Golf Course in Grenada.
Oxford was first with a team score of 304, followed by Vardaman 307, Kosciusko 327, Eupora 343 and Bruce 371.
Kosciusko was led by Mac McCool with 79. Brooks Kuhn and Nicholas Carter had 82, Noah Carter 84, Rye Edwards 87 and Braydon Rigby 88.

Kosciusko volleyball moves to 6-0 in region, closes in on top playoff seed

Kosciusko volleyball improved to 6-0 in Region 4-4A with victories over Greenwood 3-1 and Yazoo City 3-0, virtually assuring that the Lady Whippets will be the top seed from Region 4-4A when the playoffs begin Saturday.
As the region’s top seed Kosciusko will be at home against the fourth-place team from 2-4A, Houston or Shannon.

McAdams rushes for 596 yards in Homecoming rout

McAdams quarterback Adarrius McLaurin completed only one pass against Riverside, 44 yards to Darin Fleming for a touchdown. You don’t need much of a passing game when you run for 596 yards as the Bulldogs did in a 66-0 victory over Riverside to improve to 3-2.
