The McAdams Bulldogs improved to 7-8 overall and 3-0 in Region 5-1A play with wins over Durant and French Camp last week.
In Friday night’s contest with the French Camp Panthers, the Bulldogs jumped out to an 18-7 first quarter lead and led 44-19 at the half. The Bulldogs never looked back and cruised to a 74-35 win.
The leaders for the Bulldogs were Javonte Teague with 28 points; Corte Dotson with 12 points; Querrion Gadson with six points; Kristopher Brown with five points; T’Caivan Bolton with five points and Ricky Webster with three points.
In last Tuesday night’s 69-64 road win over the Durant Tigers the Tigers grabbed a 15-14 lead to end the first quarter. The Bulldogs lead 30-29 at the half and hung on for the 5-point region win over the Tigers.
The leaders for the Bulldogs were Teague with 33 points, six rebounds and one assist; Dotson with 13 points, nine boards, one assist and three steals; Charles Kilbert with 12 points, five rebounds and six steals and John Bayne and Gadson with seven boards apiece.
The Bulldogs hosted Attala County and Region 5 rival Ethel on Tuesday and will host West Lowndes at 6 p.m. on Friday.
