McAdams paid a visit to cross-county rival Ethel last Tuesday night with both the Bulldogs (8-13) and Lady Bulldogs (15-5) grabbing wins. The Bulldogs defeated the Tigers 58-35 while the Lady Bulldogs took care of business themselves with a 66-28 win over the Lady Tigers.
o stats were available for the Tigers and Bulldogs but the Lady Bulldogs were led by Ke’Mara Atterberry with 12 points, 10 rebounds, one assist and two steals and Cavian Bolton with two points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals. Atterberry added a block while Young and Kneisha Erving each added two. The leaders for the Lady Tigers were Akiah Erving with 13 points; Carlye Pender with four points; Dotty Townsend with six points and Dejah Merritt with three points.
Ethel would then travel to French Camp on Friday night where the Tigers defeated the Panthers 65-21 and the Lady Tigers won 59-26. With the wins, the Tigers moved to 6-9 overall while the Lady Tigers improved to 10-7. No stats for the Tigers were available but the leaders for the Lady Tigers were Erving with 35 points; Merritt with nine points; Townsend with six points and Zakyia Dotson with five points.
McAdams would cap off its week on Friday when they hosted the Coffeeville Pirates. The Bulldogs won 69-64 while the Lady Bulldogs picked up another win as well with an 83-21 blowout of the Lady Pirates. The leaders for the Lady Bulldogs were Rockett with four points, three assists and five steals;
Aaliyah Lusk with four points, two rebounds and a steal; Makeria Griffin with 13 points, five rebounds, two assists and one steal; Atterberry with 14 points, six rebounds, five assists and one steal; Haley Perteet with five points and two rebounds; Iyania Malone with five points and two rebounds; Young with 16 points, four rebounds, one assist and six steals; Kiara Brown with six points, four rebounds, five assists and two steals and Erving with 11 points, three rebounds and one steal. Boys stats were not available.
McAdams hosted Durant on Tuesday and will host Montgomery County on Friday at 6 p.m. before hitting the road next Tuesday when the travel to French Camp.
