The Ethel Tigers (3-3, 2-1 in Region 3-1A) will travel to Sebastopol (4-3, 3-1 in Region 3-1A) Friday night for a key Region 3-1A contest that will go a long way in deciding playoff seedings for both teams.
Players to watch for the Sebastopol Bobcats will be senior QB Gerrand Bobbitt; senior RB Jeremiah Ickom; sophomore RB Javiers Johnson and senior LB Marzel Triplett. Players to watch for the Tigers will be senior QB Hayes Wood; senior ATH Julius Erving; junior RB Sean Williams and freshman DB Jacob Stander.
“We are looking forward to this game,” said Ethel Tiger head football coach Hogan Briscoe. “They are going to be well-coached; they’ll be good at what they do and they will be big and physical. We are looking for another good week for ourselves and we are just trying to get better every single week to keep pushing towards are end-goal.”
Sebastopol defeated Durant 30-13 last Friday night in Durant while the Tigers won 38-24 over the Leake County Gators.
