Leake Central was the boys winner at the Bulldogs Invitational powerlifting meet hosted by McAdams, with individual winners in seven of the 11 weight classes. Leake Central has 60 points, Leake County 40, Jim Hill 34 and McAdams 29.
The boys competed on Saturday, while the girls meet was held Tuesday after weather concerns moved it from Monday. The girls restyles will be in next week’s Star-Herald.

For McAdams, Toland Hudson was second at the 114-pound weight class (330 pounds lifted), Trmone Bailey, second at 148 (665), Tayveon Rimmer fourth at 181 (850), Jaylen Perteet second at 220 (995), Qualyn Witt third at 220 (760) and Iazavier Ellis fourth at 220 (675).
