Four members of the McAdams football team have received all state recognition from the Mississippi Association of Coaches.
Percy Lewis, a 6-8 326-pound junior, Kendrioun Boatman, a 6-4 300-pound senior, Bubba Ward, 5-8 181-pound junior and Kristopher Brown, a 5-9 171-pound junior, were named to the Class 1A all-state second team.
Lewis was named to the team as an offensive tackle, Boatman as a defensive tackle, Ward as punter and Brown as kick returner.
Lewis, a two-way lineman, had 45 tackles, with five sacks. Boatman had 54 tackles, including six sacks. Brown carried 106 times for 699 yards and seven touchdowns. In addition to his punting duties, Ward was a running back with 49 carries for 327 yards and three TDs.
