Kosciusko heads to Choctaw County this Friday for its second consecutive road trip. Choctaw County enters the matchup at 1-3 and lost its third straight game last week, 23-20, to East Webster.
Causey said he expects strong quarterback play from Choctaw County, but what he is most focused on right now is putting his team in its best position to win ball games.
“We have to take care of ourselves,” KHS head coach Kelly Causey said. “It’s more about us correcting things that we are doing wrong than worrying about an opponent this week. We have to get to where we’re doing things right on our end then it will take care of itself. We need to get a good victory this week so we can go into the off week before we start district with some momentum. So this is a big game for us.”

CENTRAL HOLMES HOSTS MHSAA FOE

The next morning, he ran 5,000 meters in sweltering heat at the French Camp Invitational. Walters finished second, leading French Camp to the team title.
