The Central Holmes Lady Trojans finished up a perfect run through District 1-AA play in the regular season with a 52-42 win over Winona Christian last week.
The Trojans also grabbed a big win as they beat the Stars 64-41.
The Lady Trojans will enter the District 1-AA tournament as the No. 1 seed with a record of 20-5 and winners of 17 straight games. Central Holmes will play the winner of Oak Hill and Marshall game on Thursday at 6:45 p.m. The championship game is Saturday at 4 p.m.
The Trojans will enter the tournament as the No. 4 seed and must win on Tuesday to advance to the North State Tournament. The Trojans will get a rematch with Winona Christian, the No. 5 seed and a team they have beat twice already this year. If the Trojans win, they will advance to Thursday and take on top-seeded Marshall Academy on Thursday at 8 p.m.

The Lady Trojans outscored the Lady Stars in every period as the led 9-4 at the end of the first and 18-11 at the half. The paced picked up in the second half as Central Holmes outscored Winona 16-14 in the third and 18-17 in the fourth.
Breeann Bell led Central Holmes with 13 points while Cameron Martin and Morgan Bigbee each had 11 points apiece.
BOYS
The Trojans had little trouble with the Stars in the regular-season finale as they took a 64-41 win.
Central Holmes led 14-9 at the end of the first period and outscored the Stars 20-11 in the second to lead 34-20 at the half. The Trojans kept extending the lead in the second half as they outscored the Stars 19-11 in the third and 11-10 in the fourth.
Wykese Johnson led a balanced scoring attack for the Trojans with 13 points while Noah Burton had 12 points. Lawrence Wiley had 11 points while Josh Haymer added eight points. Jaylin Ford, Lake Melton and Peyton Killebrew each had five points apiece for the Trojans.
