The French Camp boys basketball team won three of its first four games, but with room for improvement, according to coach Robert Leathers.
“We're still trying to figure out who we are,” he said. “We have a bunch of new guys.”
Leathers pointed out that the wins came against week opposition, but when the Panthers played a stronger team, Winona, they were defeated 60-24.
The boys and girls teams returned to action following the Thanksgiving week break with games against Pisgah Tuesday. The Panthers and Lady Panthers travel to Louisville Friday for games with Grace Christian.
