The Ethel baseball team went 5-0 last week, while the Ethel softball team went 2-1.
This week the Tigers (11-2, 2-0 Region 5-1A) will face Noxapater in a Region 5-1A contest. Ethel will play the Tigers at home on Tuesday and at Noxapater on Friday.

The Tigers would sweep the Irish in two games on Monday and Saturday.
In the first game Cyrus Rone would have two hits and three RBI's, while Hayden Graves also had two hits. Hayden Beall got the win on the mound.
In the second game on Saturday Alex Schuster had four hits with three RBI's, while Graves had two hits with three RBI's. Rone, Reaves Threadgill and Tanner Reeves also had two hits for Ethel. Reeves Threadgill got the win on the mound for the Tigers.

Rone, Beall, Reeves Threadgill and Reeves all had two hits each as the Tigers raced past the Jaguars. Alex Schuster got the win on the mound.

The Tigers thumped the Bulldogs in both games of a doubleheader to open Region 5-1A play. Cameron McCuller and Tanner Reeves were the winning pitchers for the Tigers. Every player in the Ethel line up got at least one hit in both games.
