The Lady Trojans finished the week with a 54-33 win over Columbus Christian after losing 48-34 to Clinton Christian.
Central Holmes will return from the Thanksgiving break and play three games as it is scheduled to play at Deer Creek on Monday, Dec. 2, and then host Pillow Academy on Tuesday, Dec. 3 before finishing the week on Thursday Dec. 5 by hosting Benton Academy.
On Friday, the Lady Trojans took a 21-point win over Columbus Christian, winning 54-33. Columbus led 11-9 at the end of the first period before Central Holmes outscored the Lady Rams 18-7 in the second to lead 27-18 at the half. Central Holmes expanded its lead in the second half as they outscored Columbus 13-10 in the third and 14-5 in the fourth. Makaylee Polk and Breann Bell each had 23 points for the Lady Trojans. In the junior high game, Central Holmes took a 20-19 win, led by Taylor Spell who had eight points.
On Tuesday, the Lady Trojans lost 48-34 to Clinton Christian. Each team scored 14 points in the first period and Clinton outscored the Lady Trojans 15-6 in the second to lead 29-20 at the half. Clinton added to its lead in the third, outscoring the Lady Trojans 10-4 to lead 39-24 going into the fourth. Makaylee Polk led Central Holmes with 17 points. In the junior high game, Central Holmes won 36-28 as Taylor Spell had 23 points.
