The Central Holmes Lady Trojans picked up two big wins last week.
After beating Washington 54-39 on Tuesday, the Lady Trojans opened up district play with a 47-42 win over Carroll Academy on Friday.
The Trojans were not as fortunate as they lost 42-37 to Carroll and 57-42 to Washington.
Central Holmes is off until Dec. 28 when it will play in the Benton Tournament.

The Rebels trailed most of the first half but took the lead in the third and held on for the five-point win over the Trojans on Friday to move to 2-0 in district play.
The Trojans led 11-7 at the end of the first and 18-16 at the half. The Rebels then outscored Central Holmes 14-10 in the third to take a 30-28 lead into the fourth. The Rebels used a 12-9 advantage in the fourth to take the win.
Reese Fulton had 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Rebels while Logan Taylor had 12 points. Austin Smith added eight points.
Wykece Johnson had 13 points and Noah Burton had 12 points.
In the JV game, the Trojans led 42-9 to Carroll as Jurdan Engle led the way with four points.

Carroll 42
Central Holmes built a big lead and Carroll mounted a late comeback but fell short as the Lady Trojans took a five-point win.
Central Holmes led 12-8 at the end of the first and 21-16 at the half. The Lady Trojans extended that lead to 37-24 at the end of the third. Carroll outscored Central Holmes 18-10 in the fourth but fell short in the comeback.
Gracie Turner led Carroll with 19 points and 10 rebounds while Sandi Rhea Tackett had eight points. Belle Sanders had eight points, six rebounds and five steals in the contest.
McKenna Polk had 14 points to lead Central Holmes while McKaylee Polk added 11 points.
In the JV game, Carroll took a 23-16 win as Kenzie Cochran led the way with 10 points.
Central Holmes girls 54,
Washington 39
The Lady Trojans doubled up the Lady Generals in the first and third periods as they took a 15-point win on Tuesday.
Central Holmes led 18-9 at the end of the first and 24-20 at the half. The Lady Trojans put the game away in the second half, outscoring the Lady Generals 16-8 in the third and 14-11 in the fourth.
Breann Bell led the Lady Trojans with 20 points while McKenna Polk had 10 points.
In the JV game, Washington took a 23-1 win as Mackenzie Ward led the way with eight points.

Central Holmes 42
The Trojans got 24 points from Noah Burton but suffered a 15-point loss to the Generals on Tuesday.
Lake Melton also had eight points in the setback.
In the JV game, the Trojans won 33-30 as John Ward led the way with 13 points.
