The Central Holmes Trojans will come out of the spring break fresh and rested as they enter the stretch run of their schedule.
The Trojans, who stand at 5-0 on the season and 2-0 in District 1-AA play, will get back to action this week after missing several dates the last two weeks.
The Trojans were scheduled to travel to Winston on Friday, March 8, and had that game called because of rain. The Trojans were then scheduled to host a two-day spring break tournament on Monday and Tuesday but both of those days got washed out as well.
The Trojans will now return to action as they were scheduled to travel to West Point and play Oak Hill on Tuesday and host the Raiders on Thursday.
The Raiders are 3-5-1 on the season. Oak Hill does have a 14-9 win over Marshall Academy in district play and opened the season with a 9-5 win over Class AAA power Heritage Academy.
The next week, the Trojans will square up against Winona Christian in a key two-game series with the Stars. Central Holmes will host Winona Christian on Tuesday, March 26, and then travel to Winona on Thursday, March 28.
