Season comes to an end for Lady Trojans

The Central Holmes girls basketball team saw their season come to an end at the Class 4A North State Tournament last week.
The Lady Trojans took one on the chin, falling 53-11 to Oak Hill to finish out the season.
Coach Niki Edwards said she thought her team just ran out of gas against the Lady Raiders.

Bulldogs win 3rd Region 6-1A tournament

McAdams boys began the 1A playoffs Tuesday after winning a third consecutive Region 6-1A tournament. As the top seed from 6-1A, the Bulldogs hosted Enterprise-Lincoln, the fourth seed for 8-1A.
McAdams won the region tournament with victories over Ethel 69-42 and Leake County, the host team, 69-63.
