The Winona Christian Lady Stars picked up three more wins last week, including a pair of wins over Class 5A schools.
The Lady Stars took a 40-28 win over Magnolia Heights and a 40-34 win over Starkville Academy and finished with a 62-33 win over Tunica Academy.
On the flip side, the Stars lost all three games last week as they opened the season, falling 65-32 to Magnolia Heights, 63-27 to Starkville Academy and 65-55 to Tunica Academy.
The Stars were scheduled to host Winston on Tuesday, Heritage on Thursday, and Magnolia heights on Friday.

The Lady Stars overcame a slow start and used a big second half to take a 12-point win over the Lady Chiefs.
Magnolia Heights led 6-3 at the end of the first and 16-12 at the half. Winona Christian took the third period 10-6 to tie the game at 22-22 heading to the fourth. The Lady Stars then outscored Magnolia Heights 18-6 in the fourth to take the win.
Bella Roberts had a big night with 21 points, 11 rebounds and six steals while Olivia Brooks had 10 points and five steals. Audrey Eldridge had six points and six rebounds.

Winona Christian 32
The Chiefs dominated early and crushed to a 33-point win over the Stars.
Magnolia Heights led 20-3 at the end of the first and 39-17 at the half. Magnolia Heights put the game away in the third, outscoring Winona 21-8 to take a 60-25 lead into the fourth. Winona took the fourth 7-5 for the final margin.
Jake Ware led Winona Christian with 14 points while Collin Parkinson had six points.

Starkville Academy 34
The Lady Stars got a double-double from Bella Roberts and took a six-point win over the Lady Volunteers.
Winona led 8-6 at the end of the first and 16-12 at the half. Winona Christian outscored Starkville 11-4 in the third to take a commanding 27-16 lead. Starkville took the fourth period 18-13 for the final margin.
Bella Roberts had 17 points, 10 rebounds, five steals and three blocks while Autumn Lishman had 11 points and three rebounds. Olivia Brooks had seven points and five assists.

Winona Christian 27
The Stars fell behind early as the Volunteers cruised to a 36-point win.
Starkville got out to a quick lead, outscoring Winona Christian 25-3 in the first and 20-6 in the second to lead 45-9 at the half. Starkville took the third period 9-8 while Winona took the fourth 10-9 for the final margin.
Jake Ware led the Stars with 13 points while Collin Parkinson had eight points.

Tunica 33
The Lady Stars built an early lead and cruised to a 29-point win over the Lady Blue Devils.
Winona started fast as they led 19-9 at the end of the first and 41-17 at the half. Winona took the third period 15-9 and led 56-26 going to the fourth. Tunica took the fourth period 7-6 for the final margin.
Olivia Brooks had a double-double with 15 points, 10 steals, four rebounds and three assists while Bella Roberts had 20 points, six rebounds and five steals. Audrey Eldridge also had 11 points and six rebounds.

The Blue Devils used a big third period to take a 10-point win over the Stars last week.
Tunica led 14-11 at the end of the first period but Winona outscored the Blue Devils 15-13 in the second and trailed 27-26 at the half. Tunica then outscored Winona 20-7 in the third to take a 47-33 lead into the fourth. Winona edged Tunica 22-18 in the fourth for the final margin.
Jake Ware led Winona with 23 points and 10 rebounds while Reese Cooper had eight points and 11 rebounds. Collin Parkinson had nine points and five rebounds while Jack Sorgen had eight points, four rebounds and three assists.
