Early start powers Trojans to convincing win

Normally when winning the pre-game toss, Central Holmes coach Jim Crowder defers to the second half. But on Friday night against Hillcrest, Crowder won the toss and decided to take the ball.

The Trojans took the ball and scored 28 unanswered points and cruised to a 49-20 win over the Cougars on Friday night.

Lady Trojans’ season comes to close

Central Holmes’ softball season came to an end on Saturday at the hands of a familiar foe.

After beating North Delta 7-2 in the opening round, the Lady Trojans lost 14-2 to Lee Academy and then lost 8-3 to Carroll Academy to end their season.
