’Tis the season

It was all smiles for the annual tree lighting and concert featuring the KHS band and choir.

The event brought the community together on the courthouse square last Thursday night to kick off the holiday season.

Each year, as additional donations are received, the volunteer lights committee is able to expand the display.

Peaceful protests continued in Kosciusko over the past week, with groups holding signs on Highway 12 some days, a unity gathering on the courthouse lawn on Saturday evening, and a protest march leading to Northside Park for a community gathering — entitled “End Racism: The Cookout” — Sunday afternoon.
