Peterson promoted to Kosy head football coach

Current Kosciusko offensive coordinator Chad Peterson was promoted to head football coach Tuesday night.

Peterson has been the coordinator for the past two seasons at Kosciusko. He replaces Trac Baughn, who resigned to take a coordinator position at New Hope.

All-Stars to play for Dixie Youth state

The Kosciusko 7- and 9-year-old All-Stars played in their respective district tournaments this past weekend with both coming away winners. The tournament win for the teams placed them both into the Dixie Youth State Tournament in Mendenhall on July 8. The 7s went 4-1 in Philadelphia over the weekend and the 9s, who were the host team
