Current Kosciusko offensive coordinator Chad Peterson was promoted to head football coach Tuesday night.
Peterson has been the coordinator for the past two seasons at Kosciusko. He replaces Trac Baughn, who resigned to take a coordinator position at New Hope.
Peterson started coaching at Starkville Academy where he spent four years as the offensive line coach. He was the offensive coordinator for one season at Noxapater before joining Baughn in Kosciusko.
His assistants will be Perry Murphy, Alex Brooks, Jamario Winters and Tory Stewart.
