Kosciusko bounced back from the early week loss to Ethel to tally 15 hits in a 14-1 win against West Point on Saturday.

Tyler VanCise, Heath McBride, Lucas Price, Evan Scott, River Burrell and Kaylan Powell each recorded two hits. Hill, Matthew Allen and Ethan Wood ended the contest with one hit apiece.

Whippets close out week with two big wins

Kosciusko’s baseball team went 2-1 last week in the second full week of baseball action.

The Whippets opened the week with a 3-0 loss to Ridgeland but bounced back with a pair of wins. Kosciusko defeated West Point, 10-0, on Friday, and it earned an 11-5 win on Saturday against Grenada.
