Kosciusko bounced back from the early week loss to Ethel to tally 15 hits in a 14-1 win against West Point on Saturday.
Tyler VanCise, Heath McBride, Lucas Price, Evan Scott, River Burrell and Kaylan Powell each recorded two hits. Hill, Matthew Allen and Ethan Wood ended the contest with one hit apiece.
Powell posted a team-high three RBIs. Hill, VanCise, Price and Burrell each finished with two RBIs. Allen and Scott recorded one RBI apiece.
Parker Ryals went five innings on the mound and tallied two strikeouts in a complete game. He allowed three hits and one earned run.
“We played a great game against West Point,” KHS head coach Derrik Boland said. “We had 15 hits, and Parker Ryals came out and did what he’s been doing all year — throwing strikes, filling up the zone and giving us a chance. He’s done a great job all season.”
Kosciusko was set to play Choctaw County and Neshoba Central on Monday.
