Winston County’s unemployment rate fell to 3.8% in July, placing it below the statewide rate and improving from both the previous month and the same period last year.
Preliminary figures released by the Mississippi Department of Employment Security show the county’s unemployment rate declined from 4.1% in June and 4.6% in July 2025.
