Students attended SkillsUSA Region 2 Conference

Students from the Kosciusko-Attala CTC Construction, Ed Prep, and Welding classes attended SkillsUSA Region 2 Conference at Mississippi Delta Community College on Tuesday, February 6. In order to advance to SkillsUSA State Conference, students must place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in their competition.

Kosciusko will be at home Tuesday for a second round 4A girls soccer playoff game against Northeast Lauderdale. Kickoff time is 5:30 p.m. The Lady Whippets advanced with a 6-0 victory over Ripley.

BILOXI – Southern Miss didn't have many answers for Ole Miss' offense.

From what seemed like every angle on the court, the unbeaten Rebels knocked down eight first-half three-pointers with ease. It was an opposite outing for the Golden Eagles, whose poor early shooting led to an 89-72 loss at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
