It was a rough week for the Central Holmes softball team this past week, dropping three games.
Central Holmes was scheduled to return to action this week as they are set to host Winona Christian on Monday and Indianola on Tuesday. They will then play in the Sharkey-Issaquena Tournament on Friday before returning to district play on Tuesday by hosting Oak Hill.

The Lady Trojans fell behind early and lost a run-rule game in district play on Tuesday.
Carroll scored four in the first, 13 in the second and three in the third. Central Holmes scored its two runs in the third.
Central Holmes had four hits, including singles by Daynie Parish and Aubrey Carr who each scored. Olivia McBride also had a single while Allie McBride singled and had an RBI.

The Lady Trojans took an early lead before the Lady Panthers exploded to take a time-limit win on Saturday at the Canton Tournament..
The Lady Trojans scored two runs in the first inning before Canton scored seven runs in the first inning and six in the third.

The Lady Raiders scored 11 runs in the top of the first inning to take a run-rule win over the Lady Trojans on Saturday at the Canton Tournament.
Benton scored 11 runs in the first inning and four in the second while Central Holmes scored single runs in the first and second innings.
