The Lady Bulldogs won twice last week defeating Ethel on the road on Tuesday 50-20 and Durant at home 91-75 on Friday to move to 18-5 overall and 7-1 in Region 5-1A play.
In the Ethel contest Ke’Mara Atterberry scored 16 points with nine boards, three assists and two steals; Kiara Brown with six points, eight rebounds and one assist and Miracle Phillips with six boards, two assists and four steals. The leaders for the Lady Tigers were Akilah Erving with seven points; Brianna Campbell with five points and Chiquitta Merritt with four points.
In the Lady Bulldogs 91-75 win over Durant Atterberry led the way with 23 points, two rebounds, one assist and two steals; Jakyra Young with 22 points14 rebounds, three assists and one steal; Phillips with 16 points, four rebounds, four assists and five steals; Kneisha Erving with 13 points and 12 boards and Seneca Evans with 13 points, 13 rebounds, two assists and two steals.
The McAdams Bulldogs moved to 11-11 overall and 6-2 in Region 5-1A play after defeating Ethel 72-59 and losing to Durant 88-59. The leaders for the Bulldogs in the Ethel contest were Javonte Teague with 21 points; Corte Dotson with 16 points; T’Caivan Bolton with 11 points; Charles Kilbert with 10 points and Quenton Gadson with 10 points. No stats were available for the Durant contest at press time.
McAdams traveled to Holmes Central on Tuesday and will wrap up the regular season at home against Coldwater on Friday night at 6 p.m. The Bulldogs will host the Region 5-1A Tourney beginning on Monday.
