The Kosciusko Whippets notched their 10th win of the season last Tuesday night with a 61-50 victory over the Eupora Eagles while the Lady Whippets fell to 5-5 with a 53-50 loss to the Lady Eagles.
The leaders for the Whippets against Eupora were D.J. Sailor with 14 points; Stefan Harmon with 12 points; Terry Skinner with 11 points and Johnny Forrest with 11 points.
The leaders for the Lady Whippets were Makenzie Horrall with 14 points; Feria Mays with 11 points and Indya Haynes with 10 points.
Both teams played at Union on Tuesday night and will host Victory Christian next Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
They will then play in the East Webster Classic on December 30.
Tigers and Lady Tigers fall at Nanih Waiya
The Ethel Tigers and Lady Tigers were on the road last Tuesday night against Nanih Waiya and lost both contests. The Tigers fell to 2-4 overall with the 60-42 loss while the Lady Tigers fell to 1-6 after falling 50-33 to the Lady Warriors.
Ethel will resume play on January 6, when they travel to Choctaw County.
