Kosciusko junior Devonte Ellis won the 100 in 10.90, leading the Whippets to a 10th place finish at the MHSAA 4A state track meet Monday with 30 points.
The Kosciusko girls finished 11th with 20 1/2 points.
Other boys who participated were Calvin Banks, fourth in the triple jump; Terry Skinner fourth in the high jump; Kentrell Teague eighth in the discus and Dontavoous Fondren, eighth in the 110 hurdles.
The 800 relay team finished second.
For the Kosciusko girls Tyneria Cross was second in the high jump, Diamond Rayford fourth in the long jump, Presley Fulgam tied for fourth in the pole vault and Mikhayla Vaughn was sixth in the pole vault.
Pontotoc won the boys meet and Senatobia the girls meet.
