The Kosciusko Whippets (1-3) look to get back on the winning track this Friday night when they host the Itawamba AHS Indians (5-0) at 7 p.m.

Offensively the Whippets are led by junior quarterback Clark Dean, who is 30-of-55 through the air for 356 yards with three touchdowns and six interceptions. “They are pretty much the same as last year as far as scheme goes,” said Whippet head coach Chad Peterson. “They are not very multiple and they sit in the defense they want to run and they still do try to formation you a lot on offense. We will have to be prepared for that and their quarterback is a new starter who is a tall good looking kid that can run and throw it. They are undefeated and it will be a challenge, so we will just have to get back to work and study them and try to get better.”
