Kosciusko, Ethel, McAdams, Durant and French Camp officially began football practice in preparation for the 2016 season and hopes are high in their respective camps that success will follow.
Three new head coaches were named at Kosciusko, Ethel and McAdams. Kosciusko named Chad Peterson head coach while Ethel hired Hogan Briscoe and McAdams tabbed Priest Crockett to head their programs. Long-time veteran head coach Nathan Wright returns at French Camp while Ras Bayles begins his second year at Durant.
Kosciusko looks to improve on last year’s 10-3 mark and quarterfinal loss to Greenwood while Ethel and McAdams look to add wins to their 1-10 and 0-11 marks in 2015 respectively.
French Camp, who finished 2015 with a 7-6 record and a second-round playoff loss, looks to replace several key positions that were lost to graduation. The Durant Tigers finished 2015 with a 4-7 mark and plan to be much better this season.
