The Tigers of Ethel High School ran their baseball record to 5-0 on the year with a big win over Winona Christian and a narrow one over Sebastopol.
Ethel 15, Winona Christian 4
Tanner Reeves had three hits with an RBI to lead the Tigers offensively as Ethel ran past the Stars. Hayden Beall had two hits with three RBIs, while Hayden Graves had a hit with two RBIs, and four scores. Alex Schuster had a hit with two RBIs, three stolen bases and three runs scored.
Reeves Threadgill got the win on the mound for the Tigers and also had a hit with two RBI's.
Ethel 3, Sebastopol 2
The Tigers would score two runs in the bottom of the seventh to get past the Bobcats.
Cyrus Rone had a hit with two RBI's, while Tanner Reeves had two hits with a RBI and was the winning pitcher in relief for Ethel.
The Tigers (5-0) were set to play at Smith-Wills Stadium in Jackson on Monday against Hillcrest Christian, while on Tuesday they face Oak Hill Academy and Leake Academy.
