Dejah Merritt had 16 points and had six steals as Ethel ran past Noxapater in an all Lady Tiger matchup.
Chiquita Merritt added 13 points and nine rebounds for Ethel, while Akilah Erving chipped in 13 points and seven steals for the Lady Tigers.

Akilah Erving would pour in a game-high 31 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and added seven steals as the Lady Tigers raced past the Lady Jaguars in the J.Z. George Tournament.
Dejah Merritt added 17 points for Ethel, while Chiquita Merritt chipped in 10 points and 15 rebounds for the Lady Tigers.

Akilah Erving would have 22 points and pulled down 17 rebounds, but it was Winona coming away with the win in overtime in the all-Tiger matchup.
Dejah Merritt and Chiquita Merritt added 12 points each for Ethel (3-1).
Ethel will take this week off for Thanksgiving and will return to action on Tuesday, Nov. 27 as the Tigers and Lady Tigers host Eupora.
