The French Camp tennis team is 10-1 and coach Larry Mincher is looking forward to the team playoffs and individual championships. “I think we're going to do very well,” he said.
Senior Ben Skelton plays boys singles for the Panthers. Grace Ann Wade, an eighth-grader, is the girls singles player.
Others on the team are Boys No, 1 doubles – Bradley McGlothin and Cameron Smith; Boys No. 2 doubles – Coleman MacKenzie and Brady Peacock; Girls No. 1 doubles – Hannah Mooneyhan and Grace Payton; Girls No 2 doubles – Ruthie Storment and Rainey Peacock; Mixed doubles – Jason May and Rachel Gray.
French Camp won Region 3 for combined 1A and 2A and will participate in the playoffs beginning next week. Individual championships will be next month at Oxford.
