Both the Ethel boys and girls basketball teams would go 1-1 in the Sebastopol Basketball Tournament this past weekend.
The Tigers (1-3) and Lady Tigers (1-5) will host Lake on Tuesday and Winona on Thursday this week.

Ethel 38
Sacarrio Merritt had 20 points to lead the Tigers, while Izik Stewart added 12 points and Dominguez Clark had 10 points for Ethel. The Yellowjackets were just too much and remained unbeaten.
Ethel boys 69, Noxapater 64
Izik Stewart had a game-high 33 points to lead Ethel past Noxapater to their first win in the all-Tiger matchup. Sacarrio Merritt added 18 points and Shikell Lowery had 15 points for Tigers.
Union girls 36,
Ethel 31
Zakiya Dotson and Destiny Felton each had eight points to lead the Lady Tigers, but the Lady Jackets came away with the close win.
Takia Miller added six points for Ethel.
Ethel girls 65, Noxapater 36
Takia Miller had 13 points to lead Ethel past Noxapater to its first win in the all-Lady Tiger matchup. Jasmine Johnson added 10 points and Zakiya Doston had eight points for Tigers.
