The Central Holmes Lady Trojans split a pair of games last week on the softball diamond. The Lady Trojans beat Carroll 13-4 before falling 8-7 to Manchester.
Central Holmes was scheduled to play at Winona Christian on Monday and at Indianola on Tuesday. On Saturday, the Lady Trojans will play in the Bayou Classic Tournament in Cleveland.

The Lady Trojans broke open a close contest with six runs in the second to take a nine-run win over the Lady Rebels in district play.
The game was tied 1-1 after two innings before Central Holmes scored three in the third and one in the fifth to take a 5-1 lead. Central Holmes added two in the top of the sixth before Carroll answered with three in the bottom of the frame to make the score 7-4. The Lady Trojans broke the game open with six runs in the top of the seventh for the final margin.
Central Holmes outhit Carroll 16-4 in the contest.
Kaylee Polk was 2-for-5 with three runs scored and two RBIs. Audrey Carr was 2-for-2 while Ryleigh was 2-for-4. Olivia McBride was 2-for-3 while Landry Gardner was 2-for-4 and scored two runs. Morgan Bigbee doubled and drove in three runs.

The Lady Mavericks scored a single run in the bottom of the sixth to take a one-run win over the Lady Trojans.
Central Holmes scored one in the first and two in the third to lead 3-1 after three. But Manchester scored six in the fourth to take a 7-3 lead. Central Holmes answered with four in the top of the fifth to tie the score.
Manchester outhit Central Holmes 11-7 in the contest.
Morgan Bigbee had a home run and drove in four runs while Ragan Brown was 2-for-3. Kaylee Polk also scored two runs.
Polk pitched all five innings for Central Holmes.
