Kosciusko golf was second out of five teams in its opening match of the season Monday, a 9-hole match at Philadelphia Country Club.
Playing on its home course, Neshoba Central edged out Kosciusko with a team score of 22 over par 166. Kosciusko had 168, Newton County 173, Choctaw Central 181 and West Lauderdale 182.
