Search continues for missing man

If someone went missing, Grady Stanley would often grab his metal detector and join the search.
“He liked looking for people who were lost. Submerged cars in the reservoir, he could find them with his metal detector. He did that out of the goodness of his heart,” said his nephew, Brad Stanley.

Library has successful summer

The Attala County Library ended a successful summer library program last week with a Water Works Day.
Children splashed around in the library’s parking lot after the Kosciusko Fire Department made a sprinkler that rained down water on the attendees.

Big Red Band to get new uniforms

“We’re excited,” said Courtney Sanders, Kosciusko band director.
The Kosciusko School Board approved ordering the new uniforms during the board’s Monday meeting.

Central Mississippi Fair events kick off Sunday
