It was another rough week for the French Camp basketball teams, each losing three contests.
The French Camp girls lost 42-26 to Ethel, 58-38 to Leake County and finished the week with a 62-35 loss to Union on Saturday.
The French Camp boys also dropped three contest, losing 64-42 to Ethel, 74-38 to Leake County and 72-30 to Union.
French Camp will finish out the regular season this week as they host McAdams on Tuesday and travel to Sebastopol on Friday.
Union girls 62, French Camp 35
The Union girls dominated early as they took a 27-point win over the Lady Panthers on Saturday.
Union jumped out to a 25-10 lead in the first period and then outscored French Camp 21-13 in the second period to lead 46-23 at the half. Union then outscored French Camp 11-5 in the third while the Lady Panthers took the fourth period 7-5 for the final margin.
Eden Box led French Camp with 13 points while Brianna Page had 12 points.
Union boys 72, French Camp 30
The Yellowjackets outscored the Panthers in every period and rolled to a 42-point win.
Union doubled up French Camp in the first period and led 18-9 and then outscored the Panthers 15-10 in the second to lead 15-19 at the half. Union then outscored French Camp 24-4 to extend the lead to 57-23 going to the fourth. Union then took the fourth period 15-7 for the final margin.
Will Taylor led French Camp with eight points while Ben Wright, Ethan Wright and Nick Winters each had five points apiece.
Leake County girls 58, French Camp 38
The Lady Panthers struggled in the middle two periods as the Lady Gators took a 20-point win.
Brianna Page led French Camp with 14 points.
Leake County boys 74, French Camp 38
The Gators pulled away in the second half and took a 36-point win over the Panthers last week.
Leake led 13-4 at the end of the first but French Camp outscored the Gators 12-11 in the second to cut the lead to 24-16 at the half. Leake then outscored French Camp 26-15 in the third and 24-7 in the fourth to take the win.
Will Taylor and Ethan Wright each had 11 points for French Camp while Ben Wright and Gavin Fox each had five points apiece.
