Dr. Richard J. Hill, an Attala County pastor, has launched an online magazine, “Glimpses,” featuring books he has written over a period of several years.
Material for the e-zine readers will come from Glimpses of Grace, the non-denominational Bible teaching organization headquartered in Kosciusko.
“We are excited about this new outreach. We are able to offer Bible teaching, testimonies and other features in the magazine,” said Hill, pastor of McCool Baptist Church.
Glimpses of Grace began by sending out newsletters giving updates on the ministry with the main focus on topical Bible studies which are available on the webpage www.glimpsesofgrace.org.
Material offered in the magazine will come from Hill’s five publications. They are “A Glimpse of Galatians,” “A Glimpse of the Christ,” “A Glimpse of the Christian,” “A Glimpse of the Chosen” and “A Glimpse of Romans.”
Hill is currently working on two new books, “A Glimpse of the Coming King” and “A Glimpse of Revelation” is contemplating growth of the ministry. Study guides for the books are also in plans in order that they might be used more effectively in small group studies, according to Hill.
The ministry also includes Glimpses Conferences which serve as a balance between fellowship and teaching, according to Hill. “We wouild like to see the Glimpses Conferences grow and reach more people and have mini-conferences in various cities. Glimpses of Grace has the potential to be the umbrella for various other ministries, as the Lord leads,” Hill said.
In getting on board with social media, Hill said Glimpses of Grace Facebook page, a Twitter account and blogs have been added to the website.
Hill has completed studies at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, Dallas Theological Seminary and Louisiana Baptist Seminary. He and his wife reside at 2587 Attala Road 1153, Kosciusko.
Two issues of the online magazine have already been published. Plans are to post every two months and a print edition is also planned for the future.
The publication can be viewed at glimpsesofgrace.org E-zine.
