The City of Kosciusko and Attala County will roll out some of its large equipment for the public to view and experience in an upcoming event called Touch-a-Truck.
Touch-A-Truck will showcase a variety of trucks and equipment from different City of Kosciusko and Attala County departments.
“It is an opportunity to show off our equipment and trucks,” KAP Main Street director G.G. Holmes said. “What kid doesn’t love to climb aboard a fire truck or a big rig? Touch-A-Truck provides that opportunity for children to explore and climb on vehicles of all types-public service, emergency, utility, transportation and delivery-all in one place.”
The event will take place Thursday, July 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the corner of N. Madison and W. Adams Street.
Children and adults of all ages are invited to explore the equipment with guidance from the respective departments who can explain and discuss the work that is performed. Access to the event is $2 per child with parents getting in for free. Parents must accompany children 10 and under.
