Taylor Casey has announced his candidacy for re-election as Ward 1 Alderman for the City of Kosciusko in the May 2 Democratic Primary.
Casey has served as Ward 1 Alderman for almost a full year after being elected in the special election of 2016.
“It has been an honor to serve as Ward 1 Alderman,” Casey said. “I want to continue representing Ward 1 citizens with an active and effective voice."
Casey attended Kosciusko High School and Mississippi State University. He received a bachelor degree in Agricultural Economics and a Master Degree in Business Administration.
Casey is employed by the Mississippi State University Extension Service and serves as the County Extension Agent in Attala County. He is active in several civic organizations including the Kosciusko Lions Club, Keep Kosciusko Beautiful Committee and the Attala County Farm Bureau Board of Directors.
He is married to Hollee Cheek Casey and they reside on East Jefferson St. in Kosciusko.
