Floyd Lenwood McGee, 91, of Thomastown, died peacefully Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. He was born to Floyd E. and Thelma McGee, June 1, 1923, in Collins. He was a veteran of World War II and a Purple Heart recipient. After his military time, he was a sheriff's deputy with the Shelby County Police Department.
