Around 10:45 Tuesday morning, emergency responders were called to an accident on Highway 12 East near the Highway 43 and Natchez Street intersection. The accident was between a 18-wheeler and an SUV. One person was injured and carried to Baptist Medical Center-Attala by ambulance.
